Grooming Services

Fine Grooming
Pets certainly know when they are clean and looking good. Well-groomed pets are happier, better behaved, healthier, and more outgoing. Just like all of us, they feel good when they look good. Golden's Mobile Dog Grooming offers complete grooming services to bring out the best of appearance and personality in any breed. We work carefully and never rush. We always take our time and do it right. Our grooming categories may be described as follows:

This is an essential service that maintains the appearance and hygiene of your pet. Each basic spa package includes:

  • Premium shampoos and fine conditioners
  • Blow dry
  • Full brushing out
  • Nail trimming
  • Ear cleaning
  • Trim hair on pads
  • Sanitary areas

Your dog will look fuller, healthier, and more colorful. It will look and feel younger and smell terrific!

This service consists of a full haircut from nose to tail, usually using scissors and clippers. Haircuts start with a full bath, brush, and blow dry and include all the elements described in our Basic service. You decide exactly how youwant your pet to look, how long or short the hair should be and whether your pet should look full bodied or slim. We will work hard to give your pet the individual look you want that will assuredly bring out the essence of its personality.

Pricing: Base price $65 small to med/$75 and up larger
There are many variables in pet grooming, such as whether your pet has long or short hair and also if the hair is matted and tangled. Therefore, there is no set pricing for fine grooming.  I set individual prices for each pet, largely based on the time required to complete the chosen service. Factors which determine the price of a service include:

  • Amount of scissor work
  • Brushing
  • Clipping
  • Degree of matting
  • Difficulty of the cut
  • Disposition of the animal
  • Drying time
  • Length of hair
  • Size of pet

However, you will find my prices quite reasonable.

Have you seen it yet?

Does your dog have bad breath?
Did you know that brushing your
dogs teeth is as important as brushing your own?
According to the American Veterinary Society, 80%
of dogs need professional oral cary by age 3.
When should you start dental care?  The sooner the better.
Dogs start out with 28 baby teeth and by six months of age,
these baby teeth fall out and are replace by 42 adult teeth.

Poor dental care affects more than your pet's mouth.  bacteria from
the mouth can enter the blood stream and damage your pet's liver,
kidneys, lings and heart.

Ask us how you can add Plaqclnz to your dogs next appointment.

**(Do not use human toothpaste on your dog, consult your Veterinarian to check your pet's oral health.  Simple brushing
cannot remove existing built up tarter, but routine care can prevent this build up.)

Creative Grooming:

You may have seen it on TV.  The Doodle on the news that everyone thought was a Lion, we can do that.  You do not have to go that extreme though, subtle color, mohawks and temporary tattoos can all be added to your groom.  They are awesome for holidays and special events.

We can also do the Asian inspired groom as
                                                                                                                    sported by our Tessa!!!!!
Top ten reasons why it costs more to get your pet groomed than your own hair cut...
10.    Your hairdresser doesn't wash and clean your rear end.
  9.    You don't go 8 weeks without washing or brushing your hair.
  8.    Your hairdresser doesn't give you a sanitary trim.
  7.    Your hairdresser doesn't clean your ears.
  6.    Your hairdresser doesn't remove the boogies from your eyes.
  5.    You sit still for your hairdresser.
  4.    Your haircut doesn't include a manicure or pedicure.
  3.    Your hairdresser only washes and cuts the hair on your head.
  2.    You don't bite or scratch your hairdresser.
  1.    The likelyhood of you pooping on the hairdresser is pretty slim.
But we groomers love to do it anyway.....
